If you live or work in Northern New England or New York, you’ve likely heard of FirstLight Fiber. In addition to offering fiber-based connectivity services, FirstLight also offers data center services at five locations, which are strategically located throughout our footprint. Our Manchester data center is significant because it is conveniently located less than a one-hour drive from Boston and Logan International Airport (BOS), minutes from Manchester airport (MHT), and offers ample parking and access to a freight elevator for easy loading/unloading. The data center is ideal for production and disaster recovery deployments.
The 14,000 square feet of space acquired in 2014 through the acquisition of the assets of G4 
Communications. FirstLight recently completed upgrades to this facility including enhancements to security, systems and the addition of conference and workstations available for customers’ use. This Tier II facility features all of the capabilities business customers require, including scalable space, power and cooling, and access to a high capacity, fiber-based communications infrastructure. The facility is carrier neutral, offering alternatives should customers require connections from other telephone companies.
Our network now consists of 260,000 miles of fiber-optic connections, serving nearly 2,000 buildings in New York, Northern New England and Quebec.
