ALBANY BUSINESS REVIEW – August 28, 2014 – FirstLight Fiber, a telecom company headquartered in Albany, has positioned itself to offer more services in markets across the Northeast through the acquisition of a New Hampshire internet service provider.
FirstLight Fiber, previously called Tech Valley Communications, announced Wednesday that it was acquiring G4 Communications, a Manchester, New Hampshire-based company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, should be complete within 45 days, says James Capuano, senior vice president and chief of network operations at FirstLight.
